Central Minnesota Community Foundation
Steve was appointed president of the Central Minnesota Community Foundation in 1996. The Foundation today has over $68 million in assets, three major affiliates and one supporting organization, the Minnesota Real Estate Foundation. Steve has a degree in economics from the University of Minnesota and is a past fellow with the Humphrey Institute Policy Forum. Steve participated in the first year of the German Marshall Fund Community Foundation Exchange program visiting the Czech Republic. He is a past chair of CEOnet and currently serves on the national board for CF Leads. He also is a past board member and board chair of the Charities Review Council and on the board of the Minnesota Council on Foundations.
